Hello everyone, thank you so much for joining us on our first Passover Blog Hop. For this blog hop I decided to use the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. This kit was designed to make Easter bunnies and is super cute. I know some people who don’t celebrate Easter were thinking “what am I going to do with an Easter bunny kit?” I decided that I would find something to do with that kit for Passover. As you can see, I decided to make the bunny ears into flowers, and used the bunny treat bags as holders for the flowers. I printed out the “Happy Passover” greeting on the computer. A bag of flowers and a matching little card will make a fun little hostess gift to bring to a seder or give to a friend. The flowers are make with the large bunny ear stickers. I stuck the sticky sides of two stickers together to make each petal. I curled three of them around each other (in a cone shape) to make each flower. I used a hot glue gun to keep the petals together. I added the pom poms included in the kit to the center of each flower, and stuck a piece of florist wire in the bottom of each one for a stem.
I poked holes in the bottom of a bathroom sized dixie cup to help the flowers stand upright. (I realized after I took the photo that I needed to cut about 1/2 inch all around from the open end of the cup so it would be the right size for the bag).I used the small bunny ear stickers for the 3 x 3 cards.
This is a super fun Paper Pumpkin kit. Refills are now available for Paper Pumpkin subscribers, in case you want to make more bunnies or give the flowers a try.
